WELCOME TO THE WOODSHED

In case you showed up here by mistake, a few things you'll need to know.
First, as the title implies, the woodshed is a place where you can get a verbal ass-whoopin' or we can share a few sips of some of Kosmo's sweet but powerful home-brewed picks, pans, rants and raves. The choice is yours.
Second, I'm retired. that means I have no schedule. I do what I want when I want. That includes answering questions or posting my picks. The only thing that will make that change is sending me money. (Fat chance that'll happen.)
Finally, I'm a gambler, not good enough to make a living at it, but good enough to keep the frig full of brews and smoke a good cigar occasionally
( I'm very partial to NoCal free-rolls ).
That's it. I hope you can use some of the info here to make yourself some money.

PICK-11/29 NFL

The only reason I have any interest in this game is it gives me one more excuse to drink beer. Both of these teams are terrible and beer may not be strong enough to numb my senses for what is to come. Perhaps, it's time to uncork a bottle of "Pirate's Piss", says right on the label, guaranteed to impair vision and logical thinking. Yea, that's the ticket.
Oh yeah, I'm taking the From-Behinders BIG.

Here's some notes on tonight's game:

49ers RB Frank Gore has 505 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving in six Monday night games.
San Francisco is 39-24 in Monday night games.
49ers have not allowed a player to rush for 100 yards in 16 games, second-longest active streak in NFL behind the New York Jets' 17.
San Francisco hasn't won on the road since their final game of last season (0-4).
49ers are the only NFC West team to have a winning record (4-2) against Arizona since Ken Whisenhunt became Cardinals coach in 2007.
Arizona's five-game losing streak is longest since Cardinals lost eight straight in 2006, Dennis Green's last season as coach.
Cardinals have converted 9 of 39 third-down attempts in last three games and have a 29% conversion rate for the season. They have converted more than half of third downs only once - 7 of 13 in loss to Tampa Bay.

    NOTE:
    4 teams were lined at -2 on Sun.(MIN,ATL,KC & IND). IND was the only one that lost.
